Lets Talk Out / Policies
Terms of service
Last updated 21 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Lets Talk Out platform (the "Platform") and the services provided through it (the "Services"). They are a legally binding agreement between you and RAKMAN Solutions ("Lets Talk Out", "we"). By accessing the Platform or booking a session you agree to them, together with our privacy policy, booking, cancellation & refund policy and disclaimer, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform or Services.
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. It is generated by a computer system and does not need a physical or digital signature.
Not a medical or therapy service
This is the most important clause in these Terms. Please read it carefully.
Lets Talk Out is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, counselling, psychiatric services, or any other form of clinical treatment. Listeners are not licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, or other medical or mental health professionals, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Sessions are intended solely for supportive listening and general emotional support, and are not therapy, psychological assessment, diagnosis, medical advice, treatment or clinical intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health condition, emotional crisis, or need professional care, please seek help from a qualified and licensed mental health professional.
1. The service
Lets Talk Out provides one-on-one, time-bound (45-minute) online listening sessions with real human listeners over Google Meet. It is emotional support only, not therapy, counselling, or medical or psychiatric care (see our disclaimer).
2. Who can use Lets Talk Out (eligibility)
- Minimum age: you must be at least 18 years old. By using the Platform or booking a session, you confirm that you are.
- Legal capacity: you must be legally competent to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of India.
- Accurate information: you must give complete, accurate and up-to-date information when you create an account, book a session or contact us.
- Where you are: the Services are intended for people in India, or using them within India, subject to applicable law and availability.
- Our right to refuse access: we may refuse, suspend or restrict access if you don't meet these requirements, give materially false information, or break these Terms, subject to applicable law.
3. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You may use a nickname.
4. Plans and payment
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated. Payment is taken in advance through Razorpay, our payment gateway.
- A plan gives you a number of sessions, usable within its validity period from the date of payment. Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period.
- Plans do not renew automatically.
- A confirmation email with your session link is sent to the email address you provide.
- Payment disputes and chargebacks: if something looks wrong with a payment, please write to us first at support@letstalkout.com; most issues are fixed quickly. If a chargeback or payment dispute is raised for a session that was booked under these Terms, we may share the relevant booking, attendance and communication records with Razorpay and your bank to respond to it, and may pause your account while the dispute is open. Duplicate or unauthorised charges are refunded in full.
5. Booking, cancellation and refunds
Your booking is confirmed only after payment is complete. Every session is reserved exclusively for you at the date and time you choose, so all bookings are final: once payment is complete, bookings can't be cancelled, rescheduled or refunded, except where required by law. If you don't attend, arrive late or are unavailable at the confirmed time, the session may be treated as completed. Full details are in our booking, cancellation & refund policy.
6. Session conduct
We are committed to a respectful, safe and comfortable environment for users and listeners. We may end a session immediately, without a refund where the law permits, if a user:
- Is abusive or threatening: uses abusive language, intimidation, harassment or threats towards a listener.
- Makes inappropriate remarks: sexually explicit, offensive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate comments.
- Seeks unauthorised personal contact: tries to get or exchange a listener's phone number, social media, private contact details or other personal information.
- Acts unlawfully: uses the session to facilitate, encourage or take part in any illegal activity.
- Misuses the platform: repeatedly disrupts sessions or otherwise breaks platform guidelines.
Users who break these standards may have sessions ended immediately and may face temporary suspension or permanent restriction from Lets Talk Out, subject to applicable law.
7. Confidentiality and privacy
- Confidential conversations: listeners must treat what you share as confidential and must not disclose, share or misuse it, except as permitted by law and our privacy policy.
- No recording: sessions are not audio- or video-recorded by Lets Talk Out without your explicit prior consent, except where recording or retention is legally permitted or required. Neither the listener nor the user may audio- or video-record a session without the prior written consent of everyone in it.
- Exceptions: confidentiality may be limited where Indian law requires or permits disclosure, including an imminent and serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or a lawful order. Where we can, we limit any disclosure to what is reasonably necessary.
- Your part: please avoid sharing sensitive personal information, financial details, passwords or other confidential information that isn't needed for the session.
8. Respect, safety and acceptable use
You must not harass, threaten or abuse listeners; share illegal or harmful content; contact listeners outside Lets Talk Out without authorisation; record sessions without consent; or use the Platform for fraudulent, unlawful or misleading purposes. We may end a session, investigate reported violations, suspend access or close an account that breaks these rules. Refunds in these cases follow our booking, cancellation & refund policy and applicable law; nothing here removes a refund or remedy the law requires.
9. Intellectual property
All content, materials and features on the Lets Talk Out website, apps and associated platforms (including design, layout, text, graphics, illustrations, logos, icons, branding, images, videos, software and interface elements) are owned by or licensed to Lets Talk Out and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
Without our prior written permission you may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute or commercially exploit platform content; modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from it; download or reuse it for commercial purposes; use our content, design or branding in a way that misleads users or suggests an unauthorised association with us; or remove or alter any copyright or trademark notice. The name Lets Talk Out, its logos, brand identity and slogans may not be used without our written authorisation, except where the law permits.
You may view platform content for personal, non-commercial use. Using the Platform does not give you ownership of, or any licence to, our intellectual property beyond that. If you believe content on Lets Talk Out infringes your rights, write to support@letstalkout.com with details. All rights not expressly granted are reserved, and unauthorised use may lead to legal action.
10. Limitation of liability
- Nature of the service: sessions are supportive listening and general emotional support. We do not guarantee any particular emotional, personal or other outcome.
- Your decisions: to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make independently, or for indirect consequences of information, opinions or discussions in a session.
- Limit: to the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for claims arising from a paid plan is limited to the amount you actually paid for that plan. This does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
- Your consumer rights: nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or overrides any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, its rules, or other Indian law.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; we'll post the new version here and tell you about significant changes. Questions: support@letstalkout.com.
12. Governing law and your rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Delhi have jurisdiction over disputes about our Services. We respect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to approach the consumer commission where you live; see the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
